The best Kava bar in town. Not only is it brimming with the most welcoming and friendly regulars and employees, but it’s also a very clean and well maintained establishment. You can immediately tell as you step into the building that community is a very large and important aspect of the business model and that really resonates with not only myself but what seems to be all of the other bar-goers as well. Pets are also welcome and enthusiastically greeted; which, as a busy adult, it is not only convenient, but very nice to know that there is an establishment I can bring my lil buddy where not only I can be social, but my dog can also have some play time with other dogs and people. Billy, the owner, is one of the most passionate of this scene that I’ve ever met, he genuinely cares about every person that steps through the door. It is disabled veteran owned and people from all walks of life are welcome to come hang out and build relationships. Everybody is welcomed into this establishment like they’ve been a regular for years.

This place is lovely. It’s family. I love coming here whether it’s for hours or for a quick pit stop while I face my day. I love the community aspect of MKL, which is why I keep coming back. On top of the friendships I’ve developed here, the product is why I would highly recommend stopping by and trying the goods. There’s a variety of kava products, like Leilos and home made raw kava fruit drinks made by a kavatender here, and euphoric tea shots, loose leaf, and brewed tea.

Fantastic place to meet new people or have a drink while you study or work. Staff is friendly and provides great service! Would recommend stopping by even if you're not familiar with kava or euphoric tea. The staff is always more than happy to answer any questions you may have if not the owner themselves. You can really tell a lot of love goes into running the business!
